How it all works.

Our company is 100% Veteran owned and operated–every one of us has been on TDY. Most furniture rental companies charge you by the day or month. We design the contract specifically to meet your government agency’s TDY specification.

Instead of offering a monthly rate for specific furniture items, we calculate your contract based on the full length of your rental period and use a fixed portion on brand new furniture for you; the longer you rent, the more you’ll get.

With the help of our agents, you select the furniture you want, any durable items (furniture) from any seller. The new furniture is delivered directly to your TDY/TAD location. At the end of the rental period, we sell that furniture at 25% of the purchase price. You can buy it yourself, or we sell it on the open market.

The Rental Process

The Process: can start any time but to complete your contract you will need to have TDY/TAD orders and an arrival date.

1. Receive Temporary Duty Orders

Once assigned Temporary Duty Orders, we’ll help you estimate your total lodging allowance, find comfortable accomations, and calculate your furniture budget.

2. Sign the rental contract

One of our sales agents will work with you to design your contract and optimize your TDY entitlements. (Use this rental contract to file a funding authorization if your agency requires.)

3. Pick out your furniture

After calculating your total contract value (furniture budget) to determine how much can be spent on your furniture, our interior design and operations team will help you complete a purchasing list of everything you need. 

4. We handle Purchase and Delivery

After picking out your furniture and durable goods, all you have to do is arrive at your TDY location. We purchase all the furniture, then deliver and move it in with you in accordance of your arrival.

5. Depart/Sell

Near the end of your stay, we coordinate for the sale of your rental furniture. You can wipe your hands and walk away, and we’ll come pick it up to be sold on the open market OR you can purchase it. Purchase what you like, leave what you don’t.
