Most OB Medevac orders allow for up to 90 days in the U.S.—providing time to arrive, prepare for delivery, give birth, and recover postpartum.
In some cases, families may receive medical extensions due to complications or the newborn’s medical needs, but these are reviewed individually and must be approved through the appropriate channels.

To avoid last-minute stress, it’s essential to confirm your departure timeline early. This helps ensure that housing, travel, and logistics can be coordinated smoothly and on schedule.

Wrapping Up Your Housing

When you stay with a TDY housing provider like TDY Rentals, the end of your stay is designed to be hassle-free. You’re not responsible for deep cleaning, shutting off utilities, or arranging movers. From furnishing pickup to key return, all final steps are handled for you.

If you purchased furniture during your stay, you’ll have two options:

• Buy it at a steep discount—typically around 25% of retail value, or
• Leave it and let our team handle liquidation on your behalf

Final Paperwork and Reimbursement
